Supported e-mail protocols and ports
If you are using an email program such as Outlook or Thunderbird for example, you should configure it as follows:
Incoming (IMAP or POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) mail server:mail.your_server.comYou can find your server's host name listed in the upper left corner of your Control Panel.

- SSL/TLS (implicit encryption) is the most secure way to communicate with the server. Encryption is mandatory, and it is established at the beginning of the SMTP session.
- STARTTLS (explicit encryption) is a way to upgrade a plaintext connection to an encrypted one. Encryption is optional and is initiated by your email program before logging in.
